Headphone jacks have almost disappeared from today’s smartphones. But these five Android phones, all on our list of the top 20 smartphones in the world, still have a headphone jack.

The standard headphone jack has become a rarity on most smartphones in 2019.

Since Apple abandoned it since its smartphones since the iPhone 7 in 2016, many other major smartphone manufacturers have followed suit.

Many of these companies offer consumers three simple solutions: use a dongle to connect your existing headphones, USB-C headphones or opt for wireless headphones such as AirPods or Samsung Galaxy Buds.

But not everyone wants to keep track of a dongle, spend money on a new headset or part with their favorite non-USB headset.

Here are the best smartphones you can buy and still have a headphone jack, all of which have made our latest version of the top 20 smartphones in the world.

01. Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL

There are many reasons to love Google’s latest smartphones, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL.

At 400 and 480 dollars respectively, they offer smartphones high-end features that cost about half the price of competing flagship devices. They retain many of the best features of Pixel 3, such as its awesome camera, and offer long battery life and a clean OLED screen. And yes, they also have a headphone jack. The only difference between the two devices lies in their sizes: the Pixel 3a has a 5.6-inch screen, while the XL model has a 6-inch screen.

Google makes compromises in a few small areas to keep the price low. For example, both phones lack wireless charging and run on a low-end processor than the more expensive Pixel 3. They are also made of less expensive polycarbonate than metal and glass, which is a more expensive alternative.

02. Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus

With its triple camera, gorgeous curved screens and sleek design, the $ 900 Galaxy S10 and its larger $ 1,000 companion are first-rate choices, whether you’re looking for a phone with a headset or not.

Unlike most modern smartphones, Samsung has managed to give its Galaxy S10 family an avant-garde screen without giving it a “notch” at the top. Instead, he dug a hole up the screen for the camera, which is much less intrusive than the notch found on his rivals. In addition, the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus also feature an ultra-large camera, which captures a much wider field of view than most competing phones.

But keep in mind that the built-in screen fingerprint sensor is not always as reliable as it should be.

03. Samsung Galaxy S10e

Do not underestimate the little brother of the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10e at $ 750.

With a more compact design that some people will find easier to hold and many of the same features as the S10 – including its wide angle camera, perforated screen and, of course, the headphone jack – the S10e is a great choice for those looking for a cheaper and more portable alternative.

04. Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The range of Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones has always attracted by its large color screens, fast performance and high quality cameras. Note 800 to 800 $ is no different. Like previous Galaxy Note devices, it comes with Samsung’s S Pen pen for writing handwritten notes and scribbling.

And the Samsung software has many advantages that allow you to take advantage of this pencil and the giant 6.4-inch phone screen. For example, you can open multiple applications at the same time and write notes on the screen, even when the screen is off.

However, now that it is common for flagship smartphones to have larger screens, Samsung will probably have to do more to differentiate its range from Galaxy S Family Note. In addition, Samsung typically introduces its new Galaxy Note phones in August or September. It would be interesting to know what improvements the next generation model will bring.

05. Motorola Moto G7

Moto G7 Motorola is another proof that quality smartphones do not have to be expensive. The $ 270 device comes with a nearly borderless screen and a glass back panel, like most high-end smartphones, and a dual-camera configuration including a 12-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens.

Due to its low price, the camera quality of Motorola’s old Moto G phones was insufficient, but the company says the phone uses new software to enhance enlarged images.

The Moto 7 also has some features that are hard to find on modern high-end phones, such as a headphone jack and a microSD card reader for more storage.
