So the entire first and second movies shot in Alnwick Premises, bringing life and ancient value to the film. Because in Harry Potter’s first and second movies, Alnwick Castle showed number of times. The castle mainly used to enhance the magnificent front facade of Hogwarts Castle. It gives a baroque English feeling to the scene and also provides a mysterious look for Hogwart’s character. For Potterheads there’s a photo spot with a Platform 9 ¾ sign the station authorities decided to place due to popular request and you still have to queue up for this.

Location : Home of The Dursleys


The location for Privet Drive, home of the Dursleys in Little Whinging, in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was a real house in Picket Post Close in Bracknell, situated in Berkshire around thirty miles west of London. Though for all the other Harry Potter movies they filmed Privet Drive scenes, like this heartbreaking one of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1”.
